A sus 13 Liz está aburrida de la vida que le tocó vivir. La educación estricta del colegio católico en el que estudia y sus rutinas tienen cada vez menos sentido para ella. ¿Qué despierta su interés? Los pequeños cambios en su cuerpo, El cantar de los cantares de Salomón, el maestro de literatura. Ella inventa la vida que le gustaría vivir y se la cuenta a sus amigas, pero esto sólo trae confusión y caos para ella misma y para los que están a su alrededor.

Liz, a thirteen year old girl, feels bored with her life. The strict education at her Catholic school and her daily routines make no more sense to her. What is it that Liz feels interested about now? --The subtle changes in her body, Solomon´s Song of Songs, and the literature Professor. Liz comes up with an imagined life, a life she wants to live, and this is the life she shares with her friends; only to discover that this brings confusion and chaos to herself and to those around her.
