Es el viaje de Ulises, un chico de 17 años que tiene un malentendido con el cártel local, por lo que se ve forzado a refugiarse en Estados Unidos dejando atrás todo lo que lo define: su pandilla y las fiestas de baile que tanto le gustan. Contada mediante dos líneas de tiempo, la película va y viene del pasado al presente, en Monterrey, México, y en Queens, EU, respectivamente. En Nueva York, Ulises provoca su deportación y regresa a un hogar que ha cambiado mucho sin él.

This is the journey of Ulises Samperio, a 17 year old boy who has a misunderstanding with a local cartel, which forces him to seek refuge in the USA and leave behind everything that defines him: his gang and the dance parties he loves so much. Told through dual timelines, the film jumps between past and present: Monterrey, Mexico and Queens, New York, respectively. In New York, Ulises ends up provoking his own deportation, returning to a home that has changed a lot without him.
